![A BEER-VALUATION: 21st Amendment’s Hell or High Watermelon Wheat Beer (SF)
San Francisco’s 21st Amendment Brewery (right next to the best ballpark in America) takes pride in crafting not only the top beers around but also the coolest looking ones. Hell or High Watermelon, 21st’s summer seasonal brew is truly summer-in-a-can.
It’s a crisp, refreshing beer and really unlike anything I’ve ever had. The watermelon flavor is distinct but not overly sweet and it still tastes like a beer.
I could be a bit biased as my first taste was on a yacht in McCovey Cove (HOME OF THE WORLD CHAMPION SF GIANTS) + I love watermelon, but this is has been one of my favorite beers this summer. It pairs perfectly with a BBQ and is something to grab at your local [Northern California] grocery before summer’s gone.
